She was preceded in death by hermother Vernis Kinney, father Dow Strickland andsisters Carita Strickland andKathy Earley.She is survived byDaughter, Rita Rucker (Tony); grandchildren, Stephanie Kelly (Mike Burleson), Randal Kelly and Carlos Kelly (Jessica); great grandchildren, Akacia Burleson, Joseph Moore and Oliver Kelly.
She was a member of Carbon Hill First Methodist Church where the members loved her and took good care of her.A Memorial service will be held Sunday, February 8,2026 at 2:00 PMCarbon Hill First Methodist Church178 4th Ave. NECarbon Hill,AL 35549
